Chapter Facts

Concerning the Scholar-Athlete
Fifteen Schools in Schuylkill County Participate Each Year.
Each School District Selects Its Own Scholar-Athlete.
The Scholar-Athlete of Schuylkill County Must Have a Minimum College Board Score of 900. Final Choice of the Scholar-Athlete is Made by a Committee from the Schuylkill County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

The Qualifications for this Splendid Award are 3 in Number:
1. Outstanding Football Ability and Performance
2. Outstanding Academic Application and Performance; and
3. Outstanding School Leadership and Citizenship.
